Knowledge Park at Penn State Behrend is truly living the land grant mission out loud. The Park was designed and continues to grow as a place to bring forward-thinking companies together with faculty, staff, and students of Penn State for business and technology advancement. Catering to a strong undergraduate population, the Park tenancy has broad representation of disciplines so that each student has an opportunity. Companies locating in the Park are committed to engaging with students and faculty in myriad ways such as providing internships, guest lecturing in classes, serving on industry advisory boards, participating in research, or hiring our students into full-time employment. This intentional integration shortens the students’ journey from knowledge learner to knowledge contributor.

The Park not only serves as a place where students, faculty, and industry create impact, but it also serves as a testbed for new technology. A community in and of itself, the Park is large enough to provide technology feedback on a scalable stage yet still agile enough to work at the speed of industry.
